The wait is over! On March 19 the new and long awaited Henry Fiat’s Open Sore album will be released in Europe. It’s called Mondo Blotto.

For eleven years now, Swedens most secret and infamous punk band has delivered their own interpretation of what we all now as punk, with tunes such as “Teenage Pretty Boy” and “Midlife Riot.”. Now, they’re taking things to another level. Its new, it’s fresh, it’s Henry Fiat’s Open Sore and it’s totally amazing.

HFOS has always gone their own way, but if they chose to adjust and follow the mainstream, they probably would be the biggest punk band in Sweden. But that’s not the HFOS way and thanks to that they have their infamous reputation in USA, Germany, Sweden amongst other. Behind the masks are four geniuses hidden that knows how to focus on the substance which result in songs under two minutes.

On the question if they’re satisfied with the new album (Five years has past since their last album The Parallel Universe of Henry Fiat’s Open Sore) the answer is: “We are always satisfied and we’re happy with the way we evolved since the last album. We’ve stepped it up a notch and made songs that sound better and clearer. Some may say we play slower now, but we don’t, we actually play faster than ever. Why it may seem slower is because the melodies are clearer than before.
